Jessica Mariglio, AMFT, APCC
EMDR and Yoga Practitioner
Jessica is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She received an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and also holds an MSc in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University. Jessica has dedicated herself to the practice and study of YOGA and MEDITATION for the past 2 decades and received teaching certification from the Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy in 2014. She spent a number of years immersed in different cultures around the world and developed a passion for stories of resistance in the face of adversity. Much of her work includes integrating
trauma and/or difficult life experiences through somatic psychology, EMDR therapy, postmodern theory, and mindfulness-based cognitive interventions.
Jessica’s client-centered approach to therapy provides a safe space for clients to release internalized shame, develop adaptive behaviors, and cultivate resilience. It is her belief that each person is the expert of their own experience, and that every individual has the potential to free themselves from suffering caused by addiction. Jessica works as an AMFT under the supervision of Erica Ives, LMFT 34566
